Downtown North Adams bustles
with activity this Friday, Nov. 7
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., many stores
will be open late with specials.
There will also be music and art on display.
Nathan Knowles and Deena Smith will perform an "energetic, eclectic,
acoustic" set of music at Papyri Books at 49 Main Street. The Flatbed
Jazz Band will play traditional Dixieland jazz at the Saddleback Trading Post
at 73 Main Street.
Further up the street, Butch DeGiorgis and company
will
play world folk music at Galadriel.s Boutique, 105 Main Street.
Galadriel's will also play host to Tarot card readings.
ArtWalk exhibits are located at participating businesses on Marshall,
Main, Holden and Eagle Streets. The artist lineup is as follows:

First Friday is held monthly in North Adams. The celebration combines
art, music, food and specials on Main, Eagle, Marshall, Holden and Ashland
Streets and inside local shops. Festivities are held on the first Friday
of each month from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
Residents and visitors are invited to
stroll the streets and browse the stores. Members of the Infinite Capacity
Partnership plan events with support from the City of North Adams and
